WHAT SHOULD YOU DO WHEN YOU LOSE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS?
Credit card. Notify the nearest office of the credit card company immediately by telephone or telegraph. Give them your name, the number of your card, where and when you think it was lost or stolen-- and whether you reported the loss to the police. Follow this up with a letter giving the same information.
