The Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book and I entered the world in the same year, 1930, and I derive a certain amount of consolation from that knowledge. I figure that as long as the cook book keeps improving with age-- and the newest edition, just published, looks better than ever-- maybe there's a similar chance for some of the rest of us of that vintage.
