When I look at the beautiful pictures in this month's issue-- the carefully crafted projects, the gorgeous decorations-- I feel faintly embarrassed about our Christmas tree. The truth is, it's kind of a mess; or, maybe hodgepodge would be a better description. Over the years, Christmas tree decorations have drifted into our lives from any number of sources, and we just can't seem to throw any of them away.
