OUR KIND OF ARCHITECT
I've always had a sort of love-hate relationship with architecture and architects. I love wonderful houses and grand buildings. I admire the famous architects-- Sullivan, Mies van der Rohe, I. M. Pei-- but, I also get very irritated with buildings that don't work very well for the people who use them and with architects who put aesthetics before practicality.
